Rubén J. García is the resident partner in our Las Terrenas and Samaná offices. He’s a law graduate of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (LL.B., 1982), where he later obtained a postgraduate degree in Labor Law. A specialist in labor and employment law and collective bargaining, Mr. García was a member of the Universidad Católica Nordestana Law Faculty and has more than 20 years experience representing hotel owners and other employers in labor negotiations and litigation. He has taught postgraduate courses on Labor Law at the University of Santo Domingo (UASD). Mr. García has also practiced extensively in the area of Real Estate Law. He speaks Spanish, French and English.
