Alejandra has experience advising and representing energy, architecture, and engineering firms, as well as private developers and public entities, in disputes arising from construction and public works projects.
Her practice focuses on regulatory law, administrative matters, and dispute resolution, with particular emphasis on arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, including matters involving complex contractual and public-law issues in infrastructure and EPC projects.
Alejandra has assisted counsel in high-value international arbitrations before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), involving European investors and Latin American States or state entities. These matters arose from large-scale infrastructure projects, including mass transportation systems and major water supply developments, and required coordinated legal support in disputes at the intersection of public law, regulatory frameworks, and complex construction arrangements.
She holds a Master’s Degree (M2) in Litigation, Arbitration, and Alternative Dispute Resolution from Université Paris Panthéon-Assas and a Diplôme Supérieur d’Université in Civil Law, cum laude, from the same institution. Alejandra earned her LL.B., summa cum laude, from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 2019.
Her academic training and practical experience allow her to contribute effectively to UNCITRAL-style international arbitrations, particularly in disputes involving construction, energy, and regulated sectors.
